Senior Director, Product Management – Merchandising and Supply Chain Systems, 04/2021 – Present

  • Product leader responsible for the building the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Total Wine & More’s Merchandising and Supply Chain systems; including a custom-built ERP software suite, associated 3rd party applications and transactional reporting.
  • Developed a product roadmap across multiple domains, ensuring critical dependencies are identified and the best solutions for the customer are delivered every time, on-time.
  • Scaled the engineering team from 2 to 7 agile teams.
  • Led a diverse team of 10 product managers and product owners, responsible for implementing mission critical projects, including:
    • Integrating Stibo’s STEP and PDX products for Product Information Management,
    • Led the transformation of a legacy Windows Forms-based client application to a micro-frontend architecture using React supported by modern microservice-based backend,
  • Transforming Total Wine’s supply chain from supporting distribution from a single distribution center to a multi-site network model.

Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Intelligence, 03/2017 – 04/2019

  • Implemented McKinsey’s Price Advisor, an integrated price-setting and price-management solution. Delivered the $5m project on schedule, under budget and with greater than $5m in margin in year 1.
  • Product manager responsible for implementing Total Wine’s first enterprise data warehouse using the Microsoft analytics stack (Azure Data Warehouse, SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI, etc.).
  • Leadership of the Product Support and Engineering team, responsible for the 24/7 operational support of Total Wine’s ERP suite, Store Inventory Program (SIP) and Apex, which reduced client exceptions by 75% saving over 1000 man-hours per year in lost productivity.

  • Product manager responsible for the enhancement, maintenance, and support of Total Wine & More’s custom-built ERP software suite.

  • Successfully led the implementation of multiple large cross-functional projects including:
    • Redesigned the Automated Ordering algorithm to reduce unit cost of goods sold and increase YOY gross margin by over 100 basis points.
